About
A clearer way to compare heights.
Height Lens answers a simple question: how much taller is one person than another? Numbers like “5′ 9″ vs. 6′ 1″” are hard to picture. A to-scale chart makes the difference obvious in a glance.
What makes it different
- Accurate proportions. Figures follow human anatomy, and children get child proportions.
- Tap to measure. Pick anyone as the reference and see every difference on the chart.
- No limits that get in the way. Compare up to 40 people, objects or photos at once, with every pairwise difference calculated.
- Private by default. No account and no uploads. Your photos never leave your device.
- Fast and clean. No clutter, no pop-ups, works on any phone or laptop.
About the data
Celebrity heights are commonly reported figures and can differ between sources. Country averages come from the NCD Risk Factor Collaboration, and measure 19-year-olds rather than all adults — which is why they run a little above figures like the CDC's. Percentiles are estimates, meant for curiosity rather than medical use. We set all of this out in full, including where our numbers stop being reliable, in our methodology.
How the site is run
Height Lens is free to use and asks nothing of you: no account, no email, no cookies and no tracking scripts. What is stored, and the fact that your photos never leave your device, is set out in the privacy policy, and what you may do with a chart you export — in short, anything, including commercially — is in the terms and conditions.
Corrections and contact
Published heights disagree, and some of ours will be wrong. If you can point to a better source, we would rather fix the figure than defend it: contact us or email [email protected]. Corrections go into the data, not a footnote.
